The 2010 event will be held at historic Fort Douglas on the beautiful campus of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. This site was the location of the 2002 Winter Olympics athlete facilities. We are excited about this location because it will allow us to improve upon the already great value of this conference, without increasing the price.
The conference registration fee includes all meals beginning with breakfast on Wednesday, (June 16th) and ending with lunch on Friday, (June 18th). Registration for any of the pre-conference training workshops also includes meals. All dining will be provided in the Heritage Center, which offers a wide variety of choices. They include a hot entree bar, vegan bar, soup and salad bar, sandwich bar, pizza bar, grill, and desert bar. This facility was built for the 2002 Winter Olympic athletes.
For lodging, you can stay in the very nice University Guest House Hotel. The Marriott University Park is located about 2 miles from the conference. The campus shuttle can take you to and from the Marriott.
Most of the conference sessions will be held in the University Guest House hotel and the historic Officers Club next door. The University Guest house, Officers Club, Heritage Center and other facilities are located within easy walking distance of each other. But if you would like to explore campus a bit more, a free shuttle can take you anywhere on campus. Also, a light-rail TRAX station is located right next to the conference facilities. In just a few minutes you can be in downtown Salt Lake City. If you want to explore the beautiful Wasatch Mountains which are close by, you will need your own transportation.
All conference facilities are located 20 minutes from the Salt Lake City International airport.
